The online version of The Million Pound Drop starts with an intro taken straight out of the TV show before you are faced with the game screen. Your first task is to select the number of trap doors and rounds that you want to play before finally choosing your stake. The more traps and rounds that you play the higher your stake and higher your prize money. Next you have to choose how you are going to divide your potential prize by selecting how much cash you want to place on each trap door. Once you have laid your bets you press the DROP button and the trap doors begin to open.
Any cash that is left after the trap doors have been released becomes the new current prize and you move onto the next round. The game ends when all your money falls through the trap doors or you complete the number of rounds that you originally selected.
